I’m Mark. I’m a fine art wedding and portrait photographer from Bath. My work balances reportage with posed art portraiture, along with group portraits of family and friends, whilst focusing on the atmosphere and emotion of the day. I’m very easy-going, friendly, and work quickly with a low profile. I provide an unlimited full day’s photographic coverage, and always deliver the highest quality service throughout. Everything is handled by me - the photography, printing and album assembly.
Before the wedding, I like to sit down with you to talk over exactly how you would like me to work on the day - what proportion of reportage to art-posed you would like, and to make sure your timings are adhered to with your venue.
I have traveled across England, Scotland, and Wales, and photographed at many wonderful venues, from the Pump rooms in Bath, Lucknam Park in Colerne, and the Royal Crescent Hotel, to name just a few. There’s a high chance that I have photographed at your coming venue before, but if I haven’t, I always undertake a full reccy before the day to ensure I get the very best from it
My Prices
A full day’s photographic coverage and I will be with you for as long as you want me.
Around ten days after the wedding I will supply 400-600 images on my secure online gallery, where you can make your own favourite selections, download full resolution images, and view my monochrome ‘photographer’s cut’
The images can be supplied on USB3 on request.

a bit more about me...
I taught myself photography at the age of eighteen, heavily influenced by the Japanese 'Provoke' style, especially the work of Daido Moriyama, and later William Eggleston. Between 1996 and 2014, I operated my portrait studio in Bath. My work during this time garnered fourteen industry-recognised distinctions across my photography and darkroom printing, including Fujifilm National Portrait Photographer of the Year. I am also a qualified member of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain. In 2014, I closed my studio and took some time to immerse myself in historical photographic processes and personal projects. I have now been operating as a professional for around thirty years and to date have shot well over five hundred weddings and many more portraits.
